This week Rental Magica gets a look from the panel and we make a brief stop over at Anime LA Hima - Gakuen Alice, Street Fighter, Lovely Complex, Sasameki Koto You'd probably guess that Kaiji's been playing Street Fighter, but there's also the manga Gakuen Alice, and two animes mentioned in Hima. One is a girl-girl anime called Sasameki Koto and the other is called Lovely Complex. Between Miley, Laura, and Roy you might think you can match the title with the panelist. But, it's not as easy as you might think. animetv at Anime Los Angeles 6 Anime Los Angeles is a fan-driven convention that is in its 6th year. Over 3000 people attended the event in January, where the big attraction was the cosplayers. So, we sent Roy, Jenny, and Kaiji to do a quick spin around the convention and bring back a taste of what there was to see and do. Review: Rental Magica Rental Magica is a 24-episode anime which originally aired in Japan from 2007-2008. The plot centers around the magician dispatch service and Mage's Society: Astral. Astral's second President: Itsuki Iba, is the young and inexperienced main character who ironically isn't even a Mage. Through adventures with magical spirits and creatures, competing with rival company Goetia, rogue members, taboos and the Dark Magician's Society: Ophion, the member of Astral try to complete enough jobs to pay the bills, fill The Association's quota and evade abolition.
