This time around, Ive decided to make an alternate opening for Code Geass second season, dubbed R2. Much like my first one, Ive constructed it from scratch, that is to say it is created from RAW episodes and creditless openings, and added official credits and lyrics. Unlike my previous one however, Ive taken a slightly different approach in creating the credits, and even added kanji lyrics in a similar style found in some current anime openings (ie One Piece, Soul Eater, etc.). This is all done to further strengthen the appearance to resemble an authentic opening to the viewer, a MAD, as titled. All in all, I hope you enjoy. And please leave a comment. Thank you. So one year ago, AllyKatAVR made a boredom video that had a few seconds of “This is Halloween” and Soul Eater together. it was a fun vid and a fun idea, and I played with the idea of doing it myself. Of course this was like, a week before Halloween and I had just gotten into Soul Eater, so it *probably* wasn’t the best idea to do right then. So here I am one year later. And with 51 eps instead of the 11 or so I had seen. Yeah, I can deal with that~ I wanted to make this video different from other Soul Eater AMVs, I didnt want to just focus on Maka, Soul, Black Star and Kid, I wanted to show everything about Soul Eater. I tried to fit as many characters as I could, and use scenes that aren’t common in amvs. I also tried to stay away from the scenes that are common, but that couldn’t always be helped (They’re overused for a reason, after all!). I used many scenes of different villians and one-shot monsters, and anything creepy I could find. Surprisingly, I had to kind of stretch myself to finish this, as chanting “This is Halloween” doesn’t give you much lyric sync to work with ^^; I had a great time making this amv, and very glad I was able to release this on Halloween, even if that meant working on it until 11:00pm, October 30th. HQ LINK: www.youtube.com ———————————– Wow I seemed to have finally finished it like, what, a month later? xDD Hmm I don’t know if I can say it was worth the wait though XD It’s nothing really special editing-wise to be honest, but I did have some fun making it (Alice is EPIC win after all 8D). This is definitely not one of my best though, not by a long shot xD I wound up cutting the song (but there’s only like 13 episodes so far D:), and even ended up reusing one scene twice *fail* On the up side I finally remembered to add the Endless Life studios tag to mah video, which I totally have NOT been doing *fail again* But I guess it’s at least somewhat entertaining to watch so nonetheless I ask you all to please enjoy this mediocre piece of work from meh :’DI appreciate every single comment and rating I recieve, so please leave one if you watch x3 ….And next time I make a PH vid, it will totally be better than this…when I can get around to making another one….after all these other projects….and mep parts…and collabs…maybe in the next 5 years….XD; Anyways, if you haven’t seen this anime I DO highly recommend it, it’s one of my favorites right now, actually x3 Alice x Oz ftw !~*O* OH.
