Song Title: Irony by: ClariS Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない?, lit. My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute), also known as Ore no Imōto (俺の妹?) or Oreimo (俺妹?)for short, is a Japanese light novel series written by Tsukasa Fushimi, with illustrations provided by Hiro Kanzaki. The first volume was published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint in August 2008; as of May 2011, eight volumes have been released. A manga adaptation drawn by Sakura Ikeda started serialization in the March 2009 issue of ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki G’s Magazine. A 12-episode anime adaptation produced by AIC aired in Japan between October and December 2010. Four additional episodes, which offer a different ending to the broadcast series, are being streamed monthly via the official website and other video streaming sites between February and May 2011, before being released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in June and July 2011.
There are MAJOR spoilers in this if you’ve not yet seen/read up to Kanketsu-hen/Chapter 374. All the scenes from the episode that weren’t relevant to the final scene were cut out. So, this is the anime version of the Wind Sorceress’ death… Basically, the moment pretty much all we Kagura and SessKagura fans have been waiting for… or dreading, depending on the person. Needless to say, the scene was done so beautifully and fantastically that it’s not only done the manga version much justice, but is perhaps even better than the original. We’ll miss you, Kagura… The episode (InuYasha Kanketsu-hen Episode 2) was released on October tenth in the US and is currently viewable on Hulu for US residents. Sorry about the quality, all… I’d really hoped that it would turn out ten times better than this, but alas, it failed. I might re-encode it and make it fully widescreen, but for now, enjoy this HDish version. DISCLAIMER: I don’t own any of the content shown here. If you think I do, you’re clearly insane. ;3
Surprise! It’s another subbed musical!! This time Dark of the Bleeding Moon, yay!! Though I don’t know when/where it was subbed, my friend sent it to me, so I have no idea where you can download it. I’ve never heard of this subbing group either, but I take no credit for the subs. Please though don’t ask me to sub anything else, I don’t know Japanese so I can’t. In my videos you can find the RAWs for the first musical, Saien, Dark of the Bleeding Moon, and the Live Bankai Show (plus the backstage for it) I also have a subbed version for Saien uploaded as well! I hope you all enjoy! And I’ll be back in a few weeks when No Clouds in the Blue Heavens is released (assuming I can get a copy that is
I love the anime ‘Kuragehime’ and I’d been wanting to draw fanart of it for a while, so my friend/fellow Kuragehime-lover and I decided to do a collab, where I would do the lineart and shading and she would do the colouring. This is the first speedpaint video I’ve ever made (or… speedpencil? Speedlineart?) and it took a while, but I think it looks pretty neat. :3 It’s supposed to be Kuranosuke and Tsukimi pressed up against/looking in at a jellyfish tank. Details like the bubbles and the skin up against the glass are going to be put in during the shading process. Music takes a little while to start – sorry about that. I don’t own the music or Kuragehime, of course. Anime the fanart is for: ‘Kuragehime’ (‘Jellyfish Princess’) Music: ‘Return to Zero’ by Kagamine Len and ‘Kimi ni kirei no kizuite okure (TV size)’ by Sambomaster (AKA the Kuragehime ed) Filmed with: iPhone 3… ^^; Edited with: iMovie and Windows Movie Maker Real time: 41 minutes Link to completed work: maerc-eci.deviantart.com
